This Might Be the Most Psychedelic Snorkeling Experience in the World

One of the latest “Bucket List Experiences” to be added to this private island resort’s repertoire, Fluoro Snorkeling takes guests on a post-sunset excursion to the area’s stunning coral reefs. Equipped with special gear, adventurers are able to see the reef and all its creatures in a whole new light—one that’s vaguely reminiscent of an undersea nightclub (heart-thumping bass thankfully excluded).
The “fluoro” refers to sealife that naturally fluoresce, or emit a longer wavelength light. When viewed through a yellow mask and blue light torch, these creatures—from sea anemones and shrimp to brain coral and certain types of fish—give off a rather psychedelic glow in shades from green and yellow to pink and purple. The result is undoubtedly the grooviest snorkeling experience you’ll ever have.
