Mick Jagger has hundreds of millions of dollars to his name, but it may not stay in the family when he dies.

The Rolling Stones frontman, 80, has eight heirs, but when it comes to his musical catalog, which dates back to 1971 and is reportedly valued at $500 million, he has his sights set on a more philanthropic end than just divvying it up amongst his kids.

"The children don't need $500 million to live well," he told The Wall Street Journal in a new interview. But that money could "maybe do some good in the world" if he instead donates its worth.

His children currently range in age from 52 years old to just six years old. He shares his eldest, Karis Hunt Jagger, with Marsha Hunt. He had Jade Sheena Jezebel Jagger, 51, shortly after, with ex-wife Bianca Jagger.

Meanwhile, Brazilian lingerie model Luciana Gimenez Morad is the mother of 24-year-old Lucas Maurice Morad-Jagger.

Finally, he shares his youngest son, Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger, with his current girlfriend, American ballerina Melanie Hamrick.

Jagger also has a number of grandchildren, with Karis having two kids, Mazie and Zak, and Jade having three kids, Assisi, Amba and Ray. He also has several great-grandchildren, as Assisi has three kids of her own: Ezra, Romy and River.
