Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya Reveal When They’re Going to Get Married!
Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya just went public with their engagement on The Bachelorette’s “After the Final Rose,” and yep: They’re already wedding planning. The new/super-cute couple told Us Weekly that they plan to make it officially official in the summer, with Nayte saying, “We’re thinking summertime. In the near future, we’ll put it that way.”
In case you missed it, Nayte and Michelle revealed during “After the Final Rose” that they’d been house hunting in Minnesota, and they were given a check for $200K to spend as a down payment on their dream home.
“Last night was a special one for the Young and Olukoya family!” Michelle wrote on Instagram after getting the surprise. “Nayte and I cannot express how grateful we are to have received the incredibly generous gift that we will be using to purchase our first home together! Although this @bacheloretteabc journey has come to an end, we are so excited to bring y’all with us as we start our life together! Housewarming invites to be sent soon #BachelorNation!”
Michelle also told Us Weekly that she and Nayte are planning to spend the holidays with their families and that they can’t wait to do “normal” relationship things now that they’re not keeping their engagement a secret.
“We are tired but excited, running on adrenaline, just really happy that we can be out in the open. Just do, like, the smallest things, like, I think we’re both really excited to walk through the airport together,” she said. “That’s been something that’s crossing my mind. We can finally get to do that today.”
Nayte added, “We’re visiting family, that’s for sure. We’re gonna be bouncing back and forth, but it’s gonna be a great time.”
