Michelle Yeoh, 60, stuns at the 2023 Golden Globes: 'A living princess'

Michelle Yeoh is enjoying her moment in the spotlight.

The 60-year-old actress won her first-ever statuette at the 80th Golden Globes on Tuesday night — and she looked completely ageless doing so.

Winning best actress for her work in "Everything Everywhere All at Once," the Malaysian actress looked stunning wearing a midnight blue strapless gown by Armani Privé. The sparkly gown featured a tiered silhouette, along with several embroidered crystals and sequins.

Yeoh's stylist, Jordan Johnson Chung, completed the look with a dazzling silver choker with matching rings and bracelets. The "Crazy Rich Asians" actress wore her brown long hair in a side part, draped over one shoulder.

On Instagram, Yeoh also gave her fans a sneak peek of her look ahead of the red carpet and awards ceremony.

"Ready to rock 'n' roll," she captioned her post, while tagging the Golden Globe Awards' official account.

Fellow celebrities and fans showed their love for Yeoh in the comments, with many calling her an "inspiration."

Several fans even called her "Dato' Michelle," a title given to someone by a Sultan, according to Tatler.

"Bring it home, Michelle, you deserve it," penned supermodel Naomi Campbell.

"I've been watching you since I was a kid, and I am so thrilled you are finally getting recognition for your amazing artistry in this industry. You belong up there with the greats!" one person wrote.

"Congrats!!! Your acceptance speech was so inspiring to all women! Looking forward to seeing you in many, many movies over the next 30 to 40 years!!!" another shared.

"Fabulous at 60!! Queen. Well deserved!!! Thank you for your wonderful speech and yes we in the AAPI communities are so proud of you!!! Represent," one fan raved.

"You are seriously one of the most elegant actors in the biz! Thank you for all your glorious performances! Top shelf," commented another.

"So happy for you!!!! Congratulations," someone added. "Your acceptance speech had me in happy tears. At 60, you have proved that age doesn't matter, it's the dedication to your craft."

While accepting her award for best actress in a comedy, Yeoh gave an emotional speech — with a touch of humour — that exemplifies her appreciation for the honour.

"I'm just going to stand here and take this all in. Forty years. Not letting go of this," Yeoh began.

"It's been an amazing journey and incredible fight to be here today, but I think it's been worth it. I remember when I first came to Hollywood: It was a dream come true until I got here."

Yeoh continued to explain that people in the industry drew attention to her being a minority, and some were surprised she spoke English.

"I turned 60 last year. And I think all of you women understand this: As the days, the years and the numbers [get] bigger, it seems like opportunities start to get smaller, as well," she said. "I probably was at a time where I thought, 'Well, hey, come on, girl. You had a really, really good run.'"

Yeoh explained that she worked with some of the best names in the industry, including Steven Spielberg, James Cameron and Danny Boyle.

"Then came along the best gift: 'Everything Everywhere All at Once,'" Yeoh added, before jokingly telling the Golden Globe producers to "shut up" and that she can "beat up" the orchestra as they tried to cut her speech short.

Yeoh continued to thank Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, both of whom directed "Everything Everywhere All at Once," for their "courage to write about a very ordinary, immigrant, aging, woman, mother, daughter."

"I was given this gift of playing this woman who resonated so deeply with me and with so many people, because at the end of the day, in whatever universe she was at, she was just fighting. Fighting for love, for her family."
