Want to spend a Sunday asking Michelle Wolf 73 questions? Vogue did—and dropped by her New York TV studio, where the comedian was putting the finishing touches on her Netflix show, The Break With Michelle Wolf. Wolf, of course, delivered that searing comedy routine at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April: “I was maybe too nice,” she says now. And she has choice words for President Trump, who chose not to attend. She describes what it felt like to be on the podium that night, tells us who she most wants to have a beer with (it’s not anyone you think), and reveals what she wanted to be when she was 5 years old (“bulldozer lady . . . whatever that is”). Wolf definitely can’t do accents, but she knows what makes for a perfect joke and has solid advice for your next trip to Madison, Wisconsin. “Do you consider yourself to be a nice lady?” we asked. She didn’t miss a beat: “Not at all.”
