Michelle and Sasha Obama Went to Beyoncé and Jay-Z's Paris Concert

Michelle Obama and Sasha Obama were pretty busy this weekend, doing casual former first family things like attending Beyoncé and Jay-Z's concert in Paris.

The Hill reported that Michelle and Sasha Obama were spotted dancing in the crowd of the show on Sunday evening, even at one point standing next to Tina Knowles, Beyoncé's mom, in the crowd. (Same.)

The Obamas have been outspoken for years about how much they love Bey and Jay. In 2017, Michelle dressed up as Beyoncé as a birthday tribute to the iconic performer, and as CNN reported, had some fans saying things like: "Michelle Obama paying tribute to Beyoncé cleared my skin, watered my crops and added 20 years to my life." Of course, Bey also performed at Barack Obama's inauguration.

Though he didn't attend this weekend's concert, Barack has also been vocal about his friendship with Jay-Z. The Washington Post reported he said: “I like to think Mr. Carter and I understand each other. Nobody who met us when we were younger men would have expected us to be where we are today. We know what it’s like not to have a father around. We know what it’s like not to come from much, and to know people who didn’t get the same breaks that we did. So we try to prop open the door of opportunity so that it’s a little easier for those who come up behind us to succeed as well.”

In conclusion, two of the most iconic and influential families in modern history basically hung out together in Paris, and wow, what a crossover.
