Michaels launched their Spring Decor section for 2024, a sure sign that spring is officially on its way. The craft store certainly knows its aesthetics, as they’ve launched two new collections that embody styles that can sometimes be hard to find.

Thanks to the spring collections Warm Heritage and Monet’s Garden, you can easily browse pieces that have the subtle warmth of cottagecore or soft, elegant details.

Warm Heritage focuses primarily on earthy, rustic tones—flora and fauna are some of the key elements present throughout the decor in this collection. It offers a gentle, timeless feel, with warm wood, wicker, and metal as the main materials you’ll see pop up throughout the entire collection.

Monet’s Garden offers a sweet, delicate feel, complete with plenty of pink rose motifs and decor. The collection has everything from Monet-inspired artwork to delicate candles nestled in real teacups.

Warm Heritage Collection

Warm Heritage boasts over one hundred items to choose from, so there are endless ways to revamp your space with the collection.

The asymmetrical hanging wall mirror is the perfect way to bring the statement mirror aesthetic into your space (and make it look bigger and brighter). It even comes in two sizes, so you can double up and balance out your decor.

As for artwork, Warm Heritage offers a stylish wall banner of plants that looks like it came straight from a vintage textbook.

Layering your wall art on shelves and walls is the way to go with this apothecary aesthetic collection. Glass wall accents that feature tiny leaves inside will add a little more nature to your space, while two matching framed bird wall art pieces are ideal for staggering on a wall or mantel.

You can finish off your art collection with a larger statement piece—the Ashland landscape painting retails for just under $15.

To add some classic storage features to your space, the heart-shaped wicker basket is an adorable essential. The botanical flip box adds even more of a woodland feel to the organization—there’s even a decorative storage suitcase designed to look like a vintage briefcase if you want to add a little adventure to your storage options.

It’s worth keeping an eye out for the Warm Heritage lumbar pillow, perfect for decorating a living room or bedroom.

Other intriguing tabletop decor includes ceramic vases, small wooden birds, and thoughtful indoor plant pots—to display all of these, you might opt for the distressed wooden tray, which comes in multiple sizes.

Monet's Garden Collection

As for Monet’s Garden, this collection has even more items to choose from. The pink taper candles are a must-have for adding a little elegance to any romantic decor—they retail in sets of two for just over $4.

Taper candles aren’t the only way to add some mood lighting to your space—the assorted tea cup candles will add a little intrigue to any desk or coffee table. The most notable candle by far is the Ashland Lady Candle: it’s shaped like an ivory statue bust, and it’s so delicately molded, you probably won’t even want to burn it.

It wouldn’t be a collection named after Monet without impressionist artwork. The impressionist pond art piece—inspired by Monet’s infamous Water Lilies painting—is essential for any cottage-inspired space. Add in the rectangular floral canvas art for some variation, and your walls will already feel transformed by the collection.

Tabletop decor is easy to find in Monet’s Garden—from the expensive-looking angel tabletop decoration, the floral-adorned miniature birdcage, or even a delicate ceramic teapot, there are endless romantic items to make your decor displays more interesting. Why not layer these items on a mini cake stand in white or pink?

A few other miscellaneous items to note include the white bust planter, which features a detailed statue of a woman’s head, open at the top so you can add a plant inside—almost like a romantic-era chia pet.

Cream-colored distressed rose wall hooks add more storage and style to your space, while the Monet’s Garden collection offers a bird-adorned vintage tabletop clock to spruce up your nightstand or end table. If you’re searching for even more storage for all of your new decor, the vintage wall cubby is the dreamiest way to create a wall display.

To purchase the items in both Warm Heritage and Monet’s Garden, you can head over to the Michaels website—many items from the collections are available to purchase online.

Some items are only available in-store, so to see where they can be found near you, select a local Michaels store as you browse the collections.
