Michaels Is Officially Your One-Stop-Shop with New UPS Access Points

Decorating and crafting are two of our favorite ways to welcome the holiday season, and they usually entail frequent trips to craft stores to stock up on essentials like yoga skeleton planters, vintage ceramic Halloween trees, and turkey-shaped cookie centerpieces. Now, Michaels is offering even more than crafts and home decor and is actually making online holiday shopping a little easier this year. The store recently teamed up with UPS to provide customers with convenient shipping and pick-ups for any and all packages.

The arts and crafts retailer now features UPS Access Points at more than 1,100 stores nationwide. This new service gives customers the option to ship UPS packages directly to a Michaels store, (which means avoiding the dreaded porch pirates), along with the ability to drop off pre-labeled shipments and make returns to retailers that offer UPS drop off.

The chain is the first to announce this partnership with UPS, but it won't be the last. Other stores, including CVS and Advanced Auto Parts, will soon follow suit, according to the statement.

Not to mention, stepping into a crafts store instead of the postal office might just be your idea of zen during the holidays.
