All his life, Michael Strahan has proven time and time again that the impossible is possible. Now, he’s telling his incredible life story to help inspire others with that same message.

The Good Morning America coanchor is giving fans a never-before-seen glimpse into his upbringing and incredible rise to fame in season 2 of the ESPN+ show UNINTERRUPTED’s More Than an Athlete (season 1 focused on basketball star LeBron James). Ahead of the first episode dropping on September 9, Michael thanked fans on Instagram for supporting his new four-part docuseries, which follows his rise to fame from growing up in Germany and then transitioning from football star to a beloved TV personality.

“It is my story, and I hope you can learn from my story that hard work, determination and belief in yourself [is] all you need to succeed. And a little luck helps too,” he said on Instagram. “I started playing football at 17, became a Super Bowl champion. I had a gap in my teeth … and I became an anchor on the no. 1 morning show. Don’t tell me something isn’t possible without even trying, OK?”

Right on cue, fans flooded the comments section to celebrate Michael's encouraging words and big news. “Congratulations Michael! ❤️ You! 🔥,” one person wrote. “Much deserved accomplishment 🙌❤️🔥🙌,” another added. “👏👏👏👏,” a different person said. “I just love your philosophy of life ❤️❤️,” a follower commented.

This isn’t the first time Michael has called for people to rise up to challenges in their own personal lives. In 2015, he released a motivational guide titled Wake Up Happy: The Dream Big, Win Big Guide to Transforming Your Life. It was also around this time that he launched his first clothing brand called Collection by Michael Strahan at JCPenney. Since then, his fashion collection has expanded with the athleisure line MSX by Michael Strahan, which is now available at Men’s Wearhouse. Most recently, Michael also launched his own skincare line at the retailer.

With an impressive résumé like this, we'll be sure to take notes while watching his new show.
