  • The relationship between Larsa Pippen, ex-wife of former Chicago Bull Scottie Pippen, and Michael Jordan's son, Marcus, has caused a lot of stir online.

  • Marcus is also the founder of The Throne Room, a boutique that sells items like limited-edition footwear.

  • A recent Instagram post from Marcus Jordan shows a confluence of the young man's controversial romance and boutique business, with a pair of shoes he gifted to Larsa.

The relationship between Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan has gotten a lot of heat from the internet lately, and quite frankly, it's downright ridiculous. After all, let she among us who hasn't divorced our ex-NBA star husband with whom we have four children, only to begin a relationship with the second oldest son of our ex-husband's former teammate, who is also 16 years our junior, cast the first stone, amirite?

Yes, the Real Housewives of Miami star has been making waves on social media and in the tabloids for her relationship with Michael Jordan's son, Marcus, especially since her former husband and Marcus's father had a public falling-out due to comments Pippen made in the ESPN documentary series The Last Dance. In fact, some might say Michael ... took that personally.

Marcus Jordan's main claim to fame outside of his father is being the founder of The Throne Room, "an elevated retail boutique expression, inspired by the trophy room within the Jordan family residence." And having access to all of those vintage Jordans and limited edition collabs has its perks, especially if one is trying to impress their reality star paramour, or in modern parlance, "keep my baby laced up."

In an Instagram story Jordan posted, he showcased a pair of Air Jordan 4s he'd apparently gifted to Pippen, with the caption, "Gotta keep my baby laced up." And as sneaker enthusiasts can attest, if you're going to get "laced up" with any pair of sneakers, a pair of Air Jordan 4s is nothing to scoff at. Certain limited-edition pairs of the shoe, like collaborations actor with Mark Wahlberg and rapper Travis Scott, have fetched five- or even six-digit sums on the secondhand market, due to their scarcity.

And speaking of Travis Scott, eagle-eyed sneaker fans can peep a second shoe in Jordan's post: lying beside Larsa's Air Jordan 4 is a Travis Scott Low. Say what you will about Marcus Jordan—the guy is living a sneakerhead's dream.
