Marcus Jordan sounds like he's getting very serious with Scottie Pippen's ex-wife, Larsa Pippen. The former UFC Knight appeared alongside Pippen on the Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast, where Marcus revealed he’s hoping his father, Michael Jordan, will serve as the best man at their future wedding ceremony. It's doubly shocking because the elder Jordan has previously dismissed the relationship.

"I was the best man at his wedding and the best man at my brother's wedding, so obviously, we'll keep the tradition going," Marcus said.

Michael seems to have come some way towards accepting his son's relationship with the ex-wife of his former close friend and Bulls teammate. In July, the recent Forbes 400 inductee answered a curt, “No,” to TMZ when I asked if he approved of Marcus dating the 49-year-old reality TV star.

Larsa was married to Scottie from 1997 until 2021. Around that time, Michael and Scottie's relationship began to deteriorate after the latter criticized Jordan's doc The Last Dance in his memoir.

Marcus met Larsa in 2019, and the two remained friends for several years before becoming romantic. They reportedly kept their relationship low-profile due to the rift between Michael and Scottie.

In August, Pippen ignited speculation when she was seen wearing an engagement ring. However, she and Marcus confirmed on an episode of their iHeartRadio podcast Seperation Anxiety that they were “not engaged.”

"We're very private people, the Jordans, so if it was up to me, I think we'd do maybe multiple weddings," Marcus explained on Pablo Torres Finds Out. He revealed that if it “were up to me” he and Pippen would hold two ceremonies, one "that's private for our family and friends," and another "that's a little more public.”

Pippen’s regular role on the Real Housewives of Miami, in which Marcus appears occasionally, may be feeding the desire for two separate events. According to People, Bravo has already begun inquiring if their cameras can film the nuptials.

The couple still doesn’t have a date decided for the occasion, but it’s “in the works,” according to the younger Jordan.

"I don't think we have a concrete date. We're still talking about locations and party size and all that stuff so it's not really concrete yet," he explained.
