Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd had quite the reunion in New York City last night when they—along with several of their Back to the Future cast and crewmates—hit the red carpet for a special gala performance of the new Broadway musical of the same name.

The new show's July 25 performance was held in honor of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, with co-stars Lea Thompson, Don Fullilove, Harry Waters Jr., Marc McClure, and James Tolkan, director Robert Zemeckis, co-creator Bob Gale, executive producer Steven Spielberg, and singer Huey Lewis—who made a cameo in the film and contributed to the soundtrack—all in attendance, as well, according to People.

Lloyd, Fox, and Thompson posed in front of the musical's DeLorean with Casey Likes and Roger Bart, who play Marty McFly and Dr. Emmett Brown, respectively, ahead of the performance.

According to the publication, during a brief session of speeches at the conclusion of the show, the crowd went absolutely wild as it was revealed Fox was in attendance, jumping to their feet in response. They also gave a standing ovation as Thompson and Lloyd were later brought on stage.

Earlier today, one fan in attendance shared that it was "hard not to be star struck" seeing some of those big names surrounding him in the crowd.

Following the performance, which also celebrated the musical's launch on Broadway ahead of its August 3 opening night, an auction was hosted at the Ziegfeld Theatre, where signed movie memorabilia, among other things, were sold off to benefit Fox's research foundation.
