Michael J. Fox Celebrates Birthday of His ‘Baby Boy’ With Sweet Post

Michael J. Fox is showering his son with love as he comes into a personal new year!

The Back to the Future star penned a short and sweet note to his forever "baby boy" Sam Michael Fox, who recently turned 34, sharing it alongside a few photos of the duo together on Instagram.

"Happy Birthday to my big bouncing baby boy @palekidd you are the best. Proud to be your pops. Love you!" Fox captioned the May 30 post, which appropriately featured a pic of the young man blowing out four sparkling black candles on a large chocolate birthday cake adorned with tiny flower garnishes.

In true birthday fashion, Sam donned stylish sunglasses in the festive capture, as a glass of wine sat nearby him on the dark cherrywood table.

The three-image social media gallery also included two snapshots of Michael and his son enjoying a watercraft ride in Vancouver, as picturesque scenery was displayed behind them. In one shot, the duo smiled together, as the 61-year-old actor wrapped his arm around Sam's shoulder. In the other snap, the doting dad leaned in to kiss his eldest child on the cheek.

In the comments, fans couldn't help but send in loving wishes for the newly-minted 34-year-old.

"Happy birthday you beautiful beautiful soul! Love yourself fully today and every day because you got everything in you," one said, as another noticed, "Awww adorable pictures. Happy birthday @palekidd. He definitely is your little mini me. 💜"

A third shared a personal memory from an encounter with the Family Ties actor. "34 years old right? Years ago I met you & your wife in O'Hare airport when I was pregnant with my daughter (& Tracy was pregnant too), my daughter turned 34 in April ! Happy Birthday Sam ! 😊," they remembered.

One even fawned over the confection, writing, "Holy heck what a cake!"

In addition to Sam, Michael also has three daughters: twins Schuyler and Aquinnah, 28, and Esmé, 21. The actor shares all of his children with wife Tracy Pollan. The couple also recently welcomed a "new baby" on Mother's Day—an adorable puppy named Blue.
