Michael and Lori have been rumored to be dating since November 2020.
Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey are the hottest new couple and it doesn’t look like they’re going to fizzle out anytime soon. The pair have been sparking dating rumors since November and recently went Instagram official earlier this month. Now, sources say they’re not casual—instead, they’re really “serious.”
“Michael B. Jordan’s family likes Lori, and vice versa,” an insider tells Entertainment Tonight. “Lori is everything Michael’s family could have hoped for him to find. She’s lovely, respectful, and fits in perfectly.” The source adds, “Her friends also think he’s great for her. Everyone around them approves of their relationship. Things have gotten serious fast, but there have been no red flags.”
Michael and Lori are “totally invested, committed, and very happy,” the source explains. Rumors that they were a pair started in November 2020 after they were spotted arriving together in Atlanta ahead of Thanksgiving. They were also photographed getting off a plane in Salt Lake City in late December. Since they’ve officially announced they’re dating, Lori’s stepdad, Steve Harvey, has commented on their relationship.
“I like this one,” he said on iHeartRadio’s The Steve Harvey Morning Show. “I still got my eye on him. I mean I like him, but like I say to all of ’em, ‘I might like you, I might approve of you, but I got a thumb-size section of my heart filled with nothing but pure hatred for your ass. Just in case I need it.’”
He added, “Like right now? Nice guy. But I got this little section partner, where all I gotta do is click a switch and I can hate your ass.”
