Met Gala 2020: 11 Best #MetGalaChallenge Looks

The Met Gala 2020 may be postponed in light of the coronavirus pandemic but that doesn't mean the stylish fun is over this year.

Fashion's most glamorous and high profile night of the year always takes place on the first Monday in May. Today would have been the day to celebrate under the “About Time: Fashion and Duration" theme, but since we’re all social-distancing at home Vogue and fashion enthusiasts have gotten creative. With no new date set for the fashion festivity to take place, many celebrities and fashion lovers have taken to Instagram the last few days to spread some stylish love using the hashtag #MetGalaChallenge to show off some fire fits.

The social media challenge was started by Vogue and Billy Porter who asked people to recreate some past iconic looks from the Met Gala red carpet. And the fans have delivered. Brace yourselves, because these #MetGalaChallenge fits are about to blow your mind!

1. Lachlan Watson and Jillian Clark (2004 Amber Valetta and 2019 Michael Urie)

Two for one! Lachlan Watson recreated an OG look to perfection and we're here for it. Jillian went for a more recent look and killed it as well.

2. Mindy Kaling (2019 Jared Leto)

Leave it to Mindy Kaling to recreate one of the funniest (and memorable) looks of all time. Gucci's Alessandro Michele would approve.

Something tells us that Lana Condor would be impressed with this fan's recreation of her Giambattista Valli Couture bubblegum dress.
