Men's Downhill Highlights From Fort William

Over the weekend, downhill racing returned to Fort William, Scotland, and oh how we missed it.

In case you missed the live broadcast and want to get caught up, the UCI released highlights of the race. Watch the men’s highlights below.

As you can see, Loic Bruni got the monkey off his back and finally won at Fort William. His riding on the upper section of the course was enough to create an insurmountable gap for the other racers.

The four-plus minute course full of jarring rocks is not an easy course to race. There is a lot of strategy required in how racers spend energy.

Thanks to his effort on the upper section, Bruni beat out Troy Brosnan and teammate Finn Iles who were second and third. American Dakota Norton put his wild-looking high-rise bars to good use managed fourth, with Luca Shaw rounding out the podium. See the full results below.
