Melissa Roxburgh Just Shut Down the Red Carpet Event in Sexy Backless High Slit Dress

Despite her popular TV series airing its final season on November 4, Manifest star Melissa Roxburgh continues to find new ways to spice up her wardrobe on the red carpet.

Amid the big news that the NBC-turned-Netflix series would be premiering its season 4 by the end of 2022, Melissa shared her flair for Hollywood fashion when she attended the 20th anniversary event for the brand Alice + Olivia back in June. Upon arriving at the special occasion, the actress proceeded to shut down the red carpet in a number that wowed fellow attendees.

Wearing a dress that was a departure from her TV character's more casual outfits, Melissa's one-shouldered red-orange gown featured a low-back and showed off her legs with a high slit. To further play up the bombshell vibe of the ensemble, she chose to pair the look with white square-toed heels that laced up the ankle. The Canadian native further pulled the look together with smoky eye makeup and beach-style waves in her blonde hair.

When Melissa shared a photo from the event on Instagram, Manifest fans immediately took notice of the look that is a complete 180 degrees from what her character Michaela Stone likes to wear in the hit drama. Many immediately took to the comments section to express how much they loved the new look.

"Stunning ❤️," one fan exclaimed on Instagram. "Omggggg 🔥🔥🔥," another follower wrote. "I need to study more about Greek mythology because a goddess like you I didn't know," a different person said.

Speaking of Michaela, folks may be wondering what's the latest news on Manifest. We know Netflix dropped the trailer for the first part of season 4 during the Tudum event in late September, and judging from the looks of things, Michaela, Ben (Josh Dallas) Jared (J.R. Ramirez) and Zeke (Matt Long) have quite a bit coming their way.

During a panel with Entertainment Weekly at New York Comic-Con earlier this month, Melissa also divulged big news about the season: both she and Josh directed episodes.

"Thanks to our boss [producer Jeff Rake] here, who trusted us and gave us a chance," she said during the interview. "Speaking for myself, I had a blast. Thankfully everyone listened to me — that could have gone wrong. But no, it was really fun being on the other side of the camera and I'm really hoping to do a lot more of that in the future."
