Melissa Joan Hart is proud of the successful marriage she's built with longtime husband Mark Wilkerson.

The Sabrina the Teenage Witch alum recently reflected on what has made her 20-year marriage to the musician possible, especially while working in Hollywood.

While chatting with Fox News Digital at '90sCon over the weekend, Hart, 47, acknowledged Tinseltown's less than stellar track record with celebrity marriages, likening Hollywood relationships to counting in "dog years."

"I guess we've had like 140 years of marriage in Hollywood years," she said of her relationship with Wilkerson, 47, whom she first met in 2002.

However, the actress did admit that the pair's decades-long marriage has not been without its challenges, and for her, the secret is to success is all about sticking with each other through both the ups and downs.

"It's all just riding through the lows to get to the highs," Hart said. "You have to go through the valleys to enjoy the peaks."

The Melissa & Joey alum added, "It's just making that commitment and sticking to it and trusting each other and giving each other grace, really."

Hart's sage advice on making a marriage last comes just months after she and Wilkerson marked their 20th wedding anniversary back on July 19.
