The actress is 'thankful' for her mom's good health.
Melanie Griffith could not be more grateful for her mom, Tippi Hedren.
The 65-year-old actress recently shared some kind words alongside a snap of herself hugging her 92-year-old mother on Instagram.
In the photo, Griffith and Hedren were snuggled up on a couch beside some animal print pillows while sharing a blanket.
"Thankful that my Mom is still here with us. ♥️," Griffith wrote in the caption.

Hedren, although not on Instagram, is a face many recognize from her involvement in high-praised Alfred Hitchcock films, The Birds (1963) and Marnie (1964), as well as from some of the projects she worked on with her daughter, like Pacific Heights (1990). Hedren has also been celebrated for her extensive efforts in animal rescue at Shambala Preserve–a wildlife habitat she founded in 1983–and her modeling career, as per her Hollywood Walk of Fame bio.
Many of Griffith's family members, friends, and fans took a moment to celebrate her legendary activist mother and their loving relationship.
Two Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars, Lisa Rinna and Kathy Hilton, shared their appreciation in the form of red heart emojis. Also joining their lead was Mario Lopez.
Olivia Harrison, author and widow of late Beatles guitarist George Harrison, added, "What a blessing ❤️❤️."
Former Twin Peaks star Alicia Witt also shared her gratitude, "love love love this photo. i’m so glad she is with you, too ❤️❤️."
Griffith’s ex-husband Antonio Banderas even chimed in, writing, "Love for both of you ladies ❤️❤️."
