Melania Trump will reportedly meet Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle next month

She skipped President Trump’s most recent international trips, but not even Melania Trump can resist the opportunity to rub elbows with Queen Elizabeth II.

Britain’s Sun newspaper claims that the Foreign Office has been advised that the first lady will join her husband for his trip to the U.K. next month. The couple will reportedly meet the queen at Windsor Castle, where she typically spends her time in the summer months.

Windsor Castle is the site of St. George’s Chapel, where Prince Harry wed Meghan Markle on May 19 in a ceremony that excluded political leaders like Trump from the guest list.

Though the first lady’s team has yet to confirm her travel plans, President Trump is indeed scheduled to visit London on July 13. Sources tell the Sun that he and FLOTUS will be treated to a presentation by the Coldstream Guards regiment upon their arrival at Windsor Castle.

It won’t be the first lady’s first brush with British royalty. She met with Prince Harry during the 2017 Invictus Games in Canada. The royal and his new American wife are not currently expected to greet the Trumps.
