Last week, First Lady Melania Trump inspired outrage when she wore a military-style Zara jacket with the words "I really don't care, do u?" printed on the back to visit two facilities where immigrant children who had been forcibly separated from their parents were being held as a result of her husband's "zero tolerance" policies.

Today, on another trip to the U.S. border, the first lady chose a much less controversial outfit, opting instead to channel Jackie Kennedy.

Melania stepped off the plane at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona this afternoon wearing a casual black t-shirt and wide-legged white pants. She accessorized the look with bright white sneakers and oversized shades.

Her ensemble appeared to be inspired by what Jackie wore in Greece on the day before her wedding Aristotle Onassis. While some of the details are different-Jackie's sleeves were short, and her feet, bare-the aesthetic is strikingly similar.

This isn't the first time Melania has emulated Jackie's iconic style. Melania's powder-blue inauguration coat was reminiscent of what Jackie wore to JFK's inauguration in 1961.

And in February of last year, Melania copied another one of Jackie's black-and-white looks. Both women wore statement sunglasses, wide-legged white trousers, and a black button-down on the tarmac in Palm Beach.

It shouldn't be surprising that Melania is continuing to mimic Jackie. After all, when asked in 1999 about what kind of First Lady she'd be if her husband were President, she said, "I would be very traditional. Like Betty Ford or Jackie Kennedy. I would support him."
