Whilst all political eyes were on her husband, President Trump last week as he met with the Queen and Theresa May, our eyes were on Mrs Trump and her beauty style. The First Lady turned heads last week with her glamorous beauty and fashion style, showcasing  an array of bold looks and beauty statements. It comes as no surprise that Mrs Trump wanted to make an impression during her first visit in a city where the Royal family Duchess' are known for their elegant and diplomatic dressing.

Since becoming The First Lady, her fashion and beauty choices have been under immense scrutiny and often criticised for their appropriateness. Since moving into the White House, Melania has waved goodbye to her low-cut sequined dresses and her over-the-top make-up and has adopted a more elegant and sophisticated style as she carries out her duties as a political wife.

However, the US First Lady made a huge fashion faux-pas last month where she wore a branded Zara jacket that said, "I really don't care, do you?" during a visit to the US-Mexico border control. The story was headline news for days and  saw Mrs Trump loose any fashion and beauty credibility, leading the world to think she was as insincere and bold as her husband can be in his political movments. Since then, Melania has put a little more thought into her dressing and it seems she used her UK visit to put things right. Here are her best beauty looks from her visit last week.

Whilst we don't know exactly who Mrs Trump brought to the UK as her glam squad we can predict that her hair stylist Mordechai Alvow was in attendance. Alvow is responsible for creating Melania's trademark glossy blow dry that we've seen her sporting so much recently. Alvow explained in a previous interview, that since her husband's campaign trail they have opted for this look for her appearance at most events as she wants to look approachable and not too 'done'.

Mrs Trump's makeup artist Nicole Bryl, who has worked with Melania for over 15 years, was no doubt on-hand creating the make-up looks we are seeing on Mrs Trump during her European tour. Melania's make-up so far is exactly as we would expect it, bronzed, fresh skin with a nude lip and a dark smokey eye. Bryn says," that Melania favours a dramatic eye look over a dramatic lip" with Bryn's focus on drawing attention to Mrs Trump's blue eyes. Melania's smokey eye is paired with a soft nude so not to overpower the eyes.

Arriving at Stansted airport on Thursday, Melania disembarked Air Force 1 wearing a Roland Mouret dress and her signature oversized sunglasses. Her hair was elegantly blow dried, her lips coated in her go-to nude shade and her skin bronzed just as we would expect.

For dinner with her husband and the Prime Minister at Blenheim Palace, Melania opted for a heavy smokey eye, chiseled cheeks and a pale pink lip. Her hair is swept to the side in a dramatic fringe that highlights her perfectly arched eyebrows.

For her visit to The Royal Hospital Chelsea, Melania wore a striped Victoria Beckham dress. She kept her hair simple and fuss-free with a softer version of her usual blow dry with a centre parting that framed her face perfectly. Melania's beautifully bronzed skin works well against her blonde highlights.

Mrs Trump wore a Dior skirt and matching jacket to Windsor on Friday for tea with The Queen and kept her hair elegant in a beautiful up-do. Her hair was pulled back into 60's inspired beehive with her fringe styled to frame her face and to show off her stunning diamond earrings.

Despite it being just a few hours since her meeting with The Queen Melania's hair no longer sported the 60's inspired beehive she had worn earlier but instead was sleek and straight - perhaps in preparation for windy Scotland.
