Meghan Wore a Vintage Dior Look to a Royal Christening with Harry
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended the christening for his cousin Zara Tindall's daughter, Lena, at St. Nicholas Church in Cherrington, Gloucestershire.
The Duke of Sussex was named a godfather for the nine-month-old baby.
Other royals in attendance included the Queen and Princess Anne, but Prince Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton weren't seen at the event.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be expecting their first child in a matter of weeks, but this weekend, their focus was on another royal baby: his cousin Zara Tindall's nine-month-old daughter, Lena Elizabeth. The couple joined other family members at the infant's christening at St. Nicholas Church in Cherrington, Gloucestershire, Tatler reports. The Duke of Sussex was named a godfather for the little girl.
The Duchess of Sussex went retro chic with a brown vintage Dior coat with oversized buttons, paired with a navy beret by Stephen Jones and a box bag by Victoria Beckham. She just wore a white printed dress by the British pop star-turned-designer at Commonwealth Day services at Westminster Abbey last week.
Other royal guests at the ceremony obviously included the child's parents, Zara and Mike Tindall, the Queen (Zara's grandmother), and Princess Anne (Zara's mother). Captain Mark Phillips, Zara's father and Anne's former husband, was also there to show his support, according to Tatler. Other famous royals like Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William, and Kate Middleton were apparently missing in action.
Zara and Mike welcomed baby Lena on June 18, 2018, the royal family announced at the time. This marks the couple's second child, following Mia Grace, who was born in January 2014.
Lena also marks the Queen's seventh great-grandchild, following Savannah Philips, 8, Isla Phillips, 6, Prince George, 5, Mia Tindall, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 10 months. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's baby, reportedly due in late April, will be the eighth.
