Meghan Trainor’s Son Riley Proves He’s on Santa’s Nice List in an Adorable New Video
There’s not going to be any coal in Riley Trainor’s stocking this year! Megan Trainor and Daryl Sabara’s 2-year-old son just confirmed he’s on Santa’s nice list in a new video, and he is too cute!
The “Made You Look” singer shared a new Instagram reel set to her new holiday song “Wrap Me Up” with Jimmy Fallon. It starts in selfie mode, with Trainor smiling at the camera as a filter determines if she’s on the naughty or nice list. It settles on “nice” revealing, “You always cheer people up.”

She smiles and mouths “Aw!” before turning the camera to her toddler. As the naughty or nice lists floats above his head, Riley looks so precious smiling at the camera. He’s wearing is adorable blue glasses and his red hair is all messy like he just woke up from a nap. The list lands on “nice” (as if it would say anything else!) and reveals: “Your friends can always count on you.” So cute!
“Rileys bed head is too cute,” Trainor wrote in her caption, adding that she is “SO excited that this song is finally OUT NOW @jimmyfallon #wrapmeup #jimmyfallon #christmasmusic 🎁🎄❤️.”
People took to the comments to praise Riley, of course. “Riley is soooo cute he doesn’t look real. He’s such a delight ❤️,” one person wrote.
“Double Nice! Great job! 👏👏👏💚♥️🎅🏻” another said.
“I can’t get enough of that little guy!!! What a cutie 💙💙,” someone else said.
Trainor also shared a duet with Fallon on TikTok. In the video, he writes, “showing my song to someone for the first time… kinda nervous.” As “Wrap Me Up” plays, the camera cuts to his cute dog listening to the song and Fallon exclaiming, “She loves it!” Trainor and Riley (who is wearing a precious Santa hat!) watch the video and smile before Riley holds up a toy car to show the camera. “We love it too!” she wrote.
Last week, Riley dressed up like a Christmas present to help his mom promote her new song. He seems so sweet and absolutely loves hanging out with his mom.
Trainor and Sabara welcomed Riley in Feb. 2021 and baby Barry in July 2023. In a March 2023 interview on Spotify’s Best Advice podcast, Trainor opened up about how motherhood has enhanced her career.
“For anyone out there who wants to have a baby, and you’re like, oh no, my career isn’t where I want it to be. A baby won’t ruin it, it’ll make it better,” she said. “Babies bring luck. I promise. I promise, everything will work out.”

She added that she “got all in my head” with her second pregnancy. “I was, like, but, the album is successful, and it was a hit song. How could I possibly get pregnant now?” Trainor said. “And I’m finally at a place that’s like, no dude, babies bring luck. Everyone will adjust around me. You’re OK. If you want a baby, have a baby.” And then dress them up in Santa hats because it’s so adorable!
