Meghan Trainor’s Son Riley Is the Cutest Little Christmas Present in New Video

Meghan Trainor and Jimmy Fallon released a new Christmas song today (if you haven’t heard it, it’s a banger!), and her 21-month-old son Riley helped promote it in an adorable new video.

“It’s time! #WrapMeUp w/ @meghantrainor out tonight at midnight!!🎄 #Christmas2023” Fallon captioned a new video Thursday evening. The video uses Mariah Carey’s “it’s time” sound promoting the beginning of the holiday season. In it, Fallon looks at Trainor, who is dressed in a red “Merry & Bright” sweater with a Santa Claus hat and a tinsel scarf. She’s sitting in front of a decorated Christmas tree and lip synchs to the high-pitched “it’s time” and raises her arms.

But her toddler Riley steals all the attention in this adorable clip. He is dressed as a little Christmas present with a bright red bow in his red hair. He sits behind a red gift and raises his arms in the air just like his mama. The camera zooms in on the little boy who looks totally cute (and just a little confused) by the whole thing.

One person commented, “Meghan and Mariah are awake!! Christmas is on the horizon 😂.”

“Love this. Adorable 💚♥️🎅🏻,” someone else wrote.

This isn’t the first time Riley’s helped out his mom. She recently released an exclusive Amazon Music version of “Jingle Bells” featuring Riley on background vocals. In a behind-the-scenes video, Trainor’s husband Daryl Sabara holds their son up to the mic as he repeats “Merry Christmas” in a cute little voice that will melt your heart.

This boy deserves some extra presents from Santa for being such a good helper this year!
