Meghan Trainor Marries Daryl Sabara in Backyard Wedding
Grammy winner Meghan Trainor got exactly what she wanted for her wedding vision after marrying actor Daryl Sabara in an intimate backyard wedding on Saturday, December 22.
People confirmed the nuptial news by revealing that Trainor had opted to wed on her 25th birthday before 100 guests. “It’s the beginning of an awesome, whole new life,” she told the mag. “I got way more than I ever wished for.”
Sabara, best known for his role on Spy Kids, added, “I’m the luckiest guy in the world.”
For her at-home nuptials, the “All About That Bass” hitmaker wore a gown by Berta and swapped into a Rivini by Rita Vinieris jumpsuit and sneakers for the afterparty. According to People, her guests enjoyed “an assortment of comfort foods” at the reception.
Trainor hinted at her upcoming wedding a few weeks ago when she shared a post on Instagram of her final show before marriage, writing: “My last shows as a fiancé.”
A few days prior to that on December 12, she shared a photo of herself beaming and captioned it, “When you about to marry your best friend @darylsabara.”

The couple got engaged a year ago. Originally, Trainor wanted a backyard barbecue wedding, but she decided to move forward instead with a winter wonderland concept. “I’m thinking Christmas,” she later told Entertainment Tonight. “Nice and cold, so that when we dance and get sweaty we can, like, cool off, you know?”
She elaborated to Hoda Kotb on the Today show in June: “I was thinking, my backyard’s real pretty. Like, real beautiful. I just want it be chill and with my family in the backyard, and I think I’m going to do that around Christmas time because it’s my favorite.”
