Meghan Markle's royal life could be 'quite lonely,' warns royal expert

The Duchess of Sussex’s new family could be making her “feel small.”

That’s according to royal expert Liz Brewer, who spoke about how the palace is addressing Meghan’s protocol missteps.

“You will be told if you’ve done something wrong,” Brewer tells Yahoo U.K. in Episode 4 of The Royal Box.

Since she married into the royal family, the new duchess’s every move has been scrutinized.

The 36-year-old has been the subject of countless reports of broken royal protocol — everything from the color of her nail polish to her public displays of affection with Prince Harry.

Brewer — who gives Ivana Trump etiquette lessons and has met the queen on numerous occasions — says that as a new royal, “you’re wanting to do things right; you’re wanting to get approval.”

According to Brewer, “It can be fairly daunting because you’re worried that you’re going to make a mistake.”

She added, “It can be quite lonely being a member of the royal family.”
