Yes, her name is really Silver Tree. For viewers watching the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, many are delighted (and perhaps a bit confused) by the name of Meghan Markle's friend who participates as a talking head in the series.

Silver was born and raised in California.
She was born to Scott and Susan Tree (pictured above), and grew up in Petaluma, California. At age 7, she moved to Monte Rio, and attended Santa Rosa Junior College for high school and Sonoma State University for college. "I had liberal parents and got to travel on my own. I always knew I wanted to see the world," Tree shared.
She's produced and directed shows like The Flight Attendant, You, Suits, and Shameless.
Silver and Meghan met while working on Suits.
She directed ten episodes of Suits, and the two became friends on set. "She'd just bring this, like, lightness," Tree shares of Meghan in Harry & Meghan. "And for a director, she is such a simple actor in that she is always natural, but is absolutely trusting. She didn't overthink it, she just did it. And I think it put a lot of people at ease."
Tree was also an executive producer on the series.
Silver attended Meghan and Harry's wedding.
She was in attendance with her husband, Abraham Levy. Levy and Tree have two children.
After bullying allegations against Meghan surfaced, Silver released a long statement in defense of her friend.
