Fans have coveted Meghan Markle's signature sparkle since well before she became a member of the royal family. Her dewy, radiant skin, charming freckles, and low key makeup looks have served as aspirational inspiration to many. If you're looking to add a royal touch to your own beauty kit, these are the Duchess-approved products to add to your shopping list, ASAP.
LAMIK Beauty Revelation Brow Duo
When the Duchess of Sussex made an appearance at the Annual Salute to Freedom Gala in November 2021, her longtime makeup artist Daniel Martin reportedly used a brow duo from Black-owned brand Lamik Beauty to sculpt her full arches.
Danessa Myricks Beauty Mini Lightwork Vol. III
In a departure from her usual defined eye makeup, Martin also used the Danessa Myricks Beauty Lightwork Palette in 2021 to make the Duchess's peepers pop thanks to a sweep of rich purple.
Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation
Martin told Allure in 2021 that his go-to foundation for Markle is the Dior Backstage Face & Body formulation, but that he only uses to spot cover, as opposed to applying it to her entire face.
The Serum Stick
Instead of using a cream highlighter, Daniel Martin created the otherworldly glow to complement the Duchess of Sussex's red Carolina Herrera gown at the 2021 Freedom Gala by mixing the Tatcha Serum Stick with a powder shadow from the aforementioned Danyssa Myricks Beauty palette.
Matte Lipstick - Rosebud
The rosey hue that Markle wore to the Annual Salute to Freedom Gala was in line with her penchant for a neutral nudey-pink, and as it happens, was from the makeup line of one of her makeup artist's other clients: Olivia Palermo.
Serge Normant Meta Velour Conditioner
While it's not clear exactly what Serge Normant products Meghan uses, her colorist Kadi Lee of Highbrow Hippie credited the brand in an Instagram post about Meghan's style for the 2023 Ms. Foundation Gala in New York City. Given that Lee opened up about the color process for Meghan's "warm and rich brunette," a color protecting conditioner like this one wouldn't go amiss.
The Rice Polish Foaming Enzyme Powder
Perfect for oily, dry, or sensitive skin, this rice enzyme powder leaves Meghan's skin looking beautifully polished. "It just sort of foams on your face and gives you a really subtle exfoliation," she told Allure back in her Suits days.
Matte Revolution Lipstick in Very Victoria
The celebrity makeup artist-crafted beauty brand Charlotte Tilbury makes one of Meghan's favorite lipsticks, according to Hello. Her preferred shade? "Very Victoria," a taupe nude matte that the princess-to-be reportedly wore for her engagement day photos.
Honest Beauty Magic Balm
To get that enviable glow on her wedding day, Martin used this multi-purpose balm on Meghan. "I tapped Honest Beauty Magic Balm onto her cheeks to give them a little bounce; since it’s glossy it really pumps up the highlight in photos," he told Harper's Bazaar.
Dior BACKSTAGE Glow Face Palette
Martin also added a touch of shimmer from this powder blush and highlighter palette for Meghan's wedding day.
Pure Canvas Primer
Back in 2017, Markle told Today that she was a fan of the now-discontinued Laura Mercier Illuminating Primer, which she said she would wear in lieu of foundation on days when she wasn't on set. This new, revamped version from the brand offers the same light-reflecting properties that Markle loved for a dewy glow.
Eye Kohl in Teddy
Not only is this gold-flecked brown a favorite of Markle's, it's also a part of actress Sofia Vergara's smoky eyes. Meghan and Vergara both developed a love for the product thanks to makeup artist Kayleen McAdams, who once counted them both as clients.
Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara
Meghan's eyes are one of her most famous features, and in order to accentuate them, she told Allure that she swore by Diorshow Iconic mascara to add volume and definition to her lashes. Since then, the brand has created a new formula with extra curl-enhancing power.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Washable Mascara
For a more budget-friendly option, this drugstore option was apparently enough of a favorite of Markle's that she actually introduced makeup artist Lydia Sellers to it. "I keep it stocked in my kit now at all times thanks to her!" Sellers oncce told Hello! "This mascara really helps to amplify your lashes and polish off the entire look."
Advanced Eyelash Conditioner
Of course, mascara looks best when there are good lashes to work with underneath it. For fluttery fringe, Markle told Allure in 2017 that she looks to this serum to help condition and enhance the natural look of lashes.
Touche Éclat All-Over Brightening Pen
Markle has lauded this cult-icon brightener as part of her "five-minute face." The sheer formula, available in more than a dozen shades, adds an instant dose of glow to skin without leaving behind glitter or shimmer.
Sugar Advanced Therapy Treatment Lip Balm
To keep her lips ultra soft, Markle reportedly relies on this balm filled with jojoba, olive, and grape seed oils.
Luminous Silk Foundation
To achieve Meghan's smooth, glowing complexion while still showing off her famous freckles, her longtime makeup artist Lydia Sellers relied on a blend of two shades of this subtle, lightweight foundation.
NARS Blush in Orgasm
Like many of us, Markle is apparently a devotee of this best-selling gold-dusted peachy-pink blush.
Magic Luminizer
Another glowifying favorite that Sellers used on Markle, this creamy highlighter's ultra-fine shimmer lends a natural-looking, spa-fresh shine.
Ultra HD Microfinishing Pressed Powder
This Make Up For Ever HD powder—which helps smooth the overall look of the skin and minimize pores—is compact and great for travel. "It lets your skin look shiny and fresh, but not greasy-shiny," Markle told Allure.
Essie Nail Polish in Ballet Slippers
For a demure yet sophisticated manicure, this Essie shade is a royal go-to (it's rumored to have been a favorite of the late Queen Elizabeth as well)—no wonder Meghan reportedly sported it on her wedding day.
Tea Tree Essential Oil
Her sister-in-law Kate may be a fan of rosehip oil, but Meghan is a longtime fan of tea tree. "The one thing that I cannot live without when I'm traveling is a small container of tea tree oil," she told Allure. "It's not the most glamorous thing, but if you get a cut, a mosquito bite, a small breakout, no matter what it is, it's my little cure-all."
