Meghan Markle's Carolina Herrera Handbag from the U.S. Open Is a Royal Repeat (and Quite Possibly Our Next Big Investment)

Meghan Markle has a go-to NYC purse, and it's her gray Carolina Herrera Matryoshka tote in the color "trench."

The duchess, who flew commercial to NYC on Friday to watch her pal Serena Williams in the U.S. Open (Serena lost the finals to 19-year-old Canadian Bianca Andreescu), carried the bag as she made her way to her seat in Williams's box. Markle wore a laid-back denim dress and buttonless cardigan to the match on Saturday, and both retail for under $200.

She previously carried the tote during her last trip to the U.S. for her New York City baby shower in February...making us wonder if this is Markle's ultimate travel bag.

The soft pebbled-leather bag features double shoulder straps and an interior zip pocket, making it ideal for organizing your laptop, wallet, phone, keys and Archie's baby toys (if you're a duchess, that is). The price tag is a bit steep at just over $1,000, but, hey, it's an investment bag. (At least, that's what we're telling ourselves.)

Basically, a purse fit for actual royalty. (Yes, that's us making a strong case for adding this to our wishlist.)
