Meghan Markle’s American Riviera Orchard has a surprise tie to her former lifestyle blog.

Meghan, 42, debuted an online presence for her new lifestyle brand with a website and Instagram on March 14, and the website credits the same company behind The Tig's website.

A zoom into the lower right corner of American Riviera Orchard’s landing page reveals the site was "Made by Article." Meghan has a long history with the Toronto-based digital agency, which she worked with while running The Tig from 2014 to 2017 and praised the team’s prowess in an undated review.

"There is a reason I have worked with Ryan and the talented team at Article for a decade: their attention to detail, their creativity and care, and the thoughtful approach to design as well as to the user experience," the Duchess of Sussex said in a review on Article's website. "They’re not just designers; they are collaborators who elevate your ideas into visual identities. They’re a very special company."

"Plus they’re Canadian, so I'm a fan," she said to conclude the review. Meghan lived in Toronto while filming Suits, which she starred in for seven seasons during the legal drama’s original run on USA Network starting in 2011.

Before she began dating Prince Harry in 2016, Meghan launched and ran her lifestyle blog to write about food, fashion and travel she found inspiring, along with personal reflections.

"I've never been the type of person to do only one thing. I guess that's how my website was born," the Duchess of Sussex said in the 2022 Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan. "There was fashion, there was tons of food and travel, so it was all of the things that I loved. And The Tig wasn't just a hobby. It became a really successful business."

She shuttered the site in 2017 as her courtship with Prince Harry continued, though her farewell letter remains live on the website with a montage of photos.

"After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it’s time to say goodbye to The Tig," Meghan wrote. "What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity. You’ve made my days brighter and filled this experience with so much joy. Keep finding those Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks, and keep being ‘the change you wish to see in the world.’ Above all, don’t ever forget your worth — as I’ve told you time and time again: you, my sweet friend, you are enough. Thank you for everything."
