Meghan Markle's 38th Birthday Plans Are Seriously Low-Key

From Harper's BAZAAR

  • The Duchess of Sussex turns 38 on August 4, 2019.

  • A source tells BAZAAR.com that Duchess Meghan will be "celebrating it at home" by having a "family day" for her birthday.

  • A palace source also confirms that Meghan will be "celebrating privately."

Meghan Markle celebrates her 38th birthday this week, but the Duchess of Sussex has opted not to have a huge party. Instead, Meghan will apparently have a quiet day with Prince Harry and baby Archie, which sounds pretty perfect tbh.

A source tells BAZAAR.com that Meghan Markle will mark her 38th birthday by "celebrating it at home," and a palace source confirms that the occasion will be spent "privately." BAZAAR.com's source also reveals that Meghan plans to have a "family day" on her birthday, rather than throwing a party with a wider group.

Understandably, fans will be hoping to hear from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the special day, and will be looking to Instagram for mementos of the occasion.

In 2018, Meghan spent her birthday at the wedding of Prince Harry's close friend, Charlie van Straubenzee. The duke and duchess were photographed stepping out for the nuptials, at which van Straubenzee wed filmmaker Daisy Jenks in Surrey, England.

According to Hello! magazine, when Meghan turned 36, Harry whisked her away to Africa for a safari. The Sun even shared pictures of the lovebirds at the airport, fueling rumors that their relationship was getting more serious.

It's unbelievable just how much has happened in only two years. Now, Meghan is spending her birthday at home with her family, which includes husband Prince Harry and newborn baby Archie. It's basically a dream come true.
