Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall was also supposed to be in attendance but could not due to illness. She also skipped a dinner at the London Library yesterday.

The royals are attending a number of events leading up to Remembrance Day, including a festival at Royal Albert Hall on Saturday and a service at the Cenotaph on Sunday. Family members such as the queen, Prince Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton are expected to attend.

This week's Remembrance Day engagements mark Harry and Meghan's last official appearances before they take a break from royal duties. (They didn't take off in August while other working royals did.)

They'll spend the majority of time in the U.S. and "plan to spend time as a family for their first break this year," a source told BAZAAR.com. The length of their time off is unclear, but they're expected to appear again at Christmastime, as royals usually gather for holiday celebrations and services then.

Harry was just in Japan for the Rugby World Cup Final last weekend, but his last working appearance with Meghan was at a roundtable discussion for the One Young World Summit at the end of October.
