Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."

While we were busy spotting Meghan Markle hair on the Fall 2019 runways at New York Fashion Week, the Duchess of Sussex herself must have been loading up on Tide To Go pens in preparation for the stunning all-white ensemble she wore on Tuesday. She and Prince Harry attended a gala performance of "The Wider Earth" in London to celebrate the work of the Queen's Commonwealth Trust and honor the 210th birthday of Charles Darwin. (Happy 210th, Charles!)

For the occasion, the Duchess — looking as dewy and perfectly highlighted as ever — stepped out wearing a white Calvin Klein turtleneck dress, which the shrewd experts over at Meghan's Mirror have speculated is an altered, bespoke version of a piece from the label's 2019 Resort collection. She topped it with a matching, crisp white coat by Amanda Wakeley and finished the ensemble with a coordinating olive-green clutch and shoes, both by Ralph Lauren.

In true Markelian fashion, the Duchess also wore her hair tidily swept back in a French twist. Surely, the backstage beauty teams are already adding this to their mood boards.
