Meghan Markle Wore a Thing: Pleated Hugo Boss Skirt Edition
The Duchess of Sussex and Duchess of Cambridge spent their Saturday watching Serena Williams in the Wimbledon women's singles final.
Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."
The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle returned to Wimbledon on Saturday to watch her pal Serena Williams battle it out with Simona Halep in the ladies' singles final. The new mom joined her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, in the royal box, recreating their first-ever joint appearance from 2018.
For the sporting event, Markle chose a flowy, pleated A-line midi skirt with navy detailing by Hugo Boss. She paired it with a white collared button-down shirt by Givenchy, a cream-colored mini bag and Le Specs "Bandwagon" sunnies. She kept her jewelry to a minimum — a sole pair of Jennifer Meyer crawler earrings — and wore her hair in a slicked back ponytail.
The other Royal Highness (and royal patron of Wimbledon) wore an emerald Dolce & Gabbana ruched-sleeve dress, along with a light nude handbag, pointed-toe pumps and gold hoops.
