Meghan Markle Wore the Sweetest Tribute to Baby Archie at Wimbledon
The Duchess of Sussex put in a surprise appearance at Wimbledon on July 4.
Meghan Markle was spotted watching Serena Williams play on Day Four of the Wimbledon Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
For the outing, Meghan wore a L'Agence blazer, OUTLAND's Harriet jeans, a pair of Finlay shades, and a delicate necklace featuring the letter "A" for Archie.
The Duchess of Sussex is currently on maternity leave, but she keeps on surprising royal fans with public appearances.
Having attended a baseball game in London with Prince Harry last week, Meghan Markle put in an appearance at Wimbledon to watch tennis superstar and close friend, Serena Williams.
As usual, Meghan looked seriously chic during the appearance, wearing a L'Agence blazer, which is currently on sale at Saks, a Madewell hat, OUTLAND's Harriet jeans, and a pair of Finlay shades in their "Henrietta" style. But even more exciting was the fact that the duchess also wore a necklace featuring the initial "A", in reference to her newborn son, Archie.
Meghan's gold Love Letters necklace was created by Sydney-based Verse Fine Jewellery. The brand's founder and designer, Emma Swann, said, "Meghan is modern, fashionable and always on-trend, and personalized jewellery is the biggest trend right now. It's all about sentiment and love, which people adore, and to see her wearing the necklace is amazing."
Reporting on Meghan's Wimbledon appearance, royal correspondent Omid Scobie wrote on Twitter, "Duchess Meghan has joined Court 1 at @Wimbledon today to support @serenawilliams. She’s joined by close friends (and fellow @NorthwesternU alum) Lyndsay Roth (right) and Genevieve Hillis (left), who will also be at Saturday’s christening."
