Meghan Markle Wore Sneakers for the First Time & Yes, It's a Big Deal

Now that her pregnancy secret is out in the open, Meghan Markle is wasting no time choosing comfort over protocol.

For the first time ever, the duchess wore sneakers to a royal outing. She was spotted wearing the casual shoes during the 2018 Invictus Games, and we don’t blame Markle for forgoing her heels. (Two words: swollen feet.)

According to the Daily Mail, the duchess is wearing white leather V-10s from Veja, a sustainable fashion brand, and they retail for the semi-affordable price of 125 euros (about $140). She accessorized the look with an Invictus Games jacket and black jeans (natch).

Shout-out to Markle for proving we aren’t the only ones who love a good pair of white sneakers.
