Meghan Markle Wore All Black in Australia the Day She Announced Her Pregnancy

Princess Diana would approve.

Early morning on October 15, the world received some exciting news: Meghan Markle is pregnant with her and Prince Harry's first child. On Twitter, Kensington Palace shared the news, writing, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019."

While the couple had been keeping their exciting news under wraps during Princess Eugenie's wedding the week prior, now they are ready to share with the world — on tour no less. For their first stop in Australia on the day of the announcement (which The Today Show Australia caught a video of here), Meghan chose an all-black look, pairing black skinny jeans with a black turtleneck. To combat the fall weather, she topped the look with a mid-length black coat and finished it off with classic black pointed-toe flats. Pregnant or not, it’s a classic autumn uniform for all. Next to Harry who wore a half-zip gray sweater and blue jeans, the young royals dressed in the perfect look for any brisk day.

Now that the announcement has been made, we're sure to be seeing some really amazing photos (and style, of course) of the Duchess in the coming months.
