Meghan Markle Wore a $325 Dress With Under-$100 Flats—And They’re Both Still in Stock

Meghan Markle is making headlines again—not for an alleged royal feud but for wearing the brand fashion people can't get enough of.

She and Prince Harry are on day two of a royal tour of Africa, which means the general public is getting a whole lot of new photos, PDA, and, of course, outfits over the course of the next week. Just today, the Duchess of Sussex wore three different looks: a denim jacket deemed "a royal FIRST", a maxi-dress repeat from last year, and a perfect belted shirtdress from Staud. We're going to focus on the latter, because it's just too perfect.

You've definitely come across Staud on your social feeds: The brand's fun, colorful apparel and structural handbags are very popular among the fashion crowd. Given how style-savvy the duchess is, it's not super surprising she'd shop the brand herself.

To visit the Auwal Mosque in South Africa, Markle wore Staud's Millie dress, a short-sleeved, collared shirtdress made from recycled-tissue nylon (aligned with her commitment to spotlighting sustainable fashion). It's currently available for pre-order on the brand's website for $325. The duchess paired it with a pair of simple nude Sam Edelman flats, which retail for just under $100.

If you can't necessarily drop over $300 on a dress (or if you're unwilling to wait until December 15 for it to ship), we found eight similar options that let you get the duchess look.
