Meghan Markle Wears a Yellow Brandon Maxwell Dress to “Your Commonwealth”

Meghan Markle made an appearance at the “Your Commonwealth” Youth Challenge on July 5 in London wearing a bright yellow pencil dress. To put it plainly, it was unlike any look we’ve seen her wear since becoming an official member of the Royal Family.

The dress was a bold contrast to the white and cream dresses she's worn all summer and was designed by Brandon Maxwell, who is best known as Lady Gaga’s favorite designer, best friend, and true supporter. Bet you never thought Lady Gaga and British Royalty would soon have anything in common, let alone their choice in fashion, did you? And, lucky for a few people, while the look still carries a hefty price tag, it’s actually on sale, here, if you want to cop their style. It’s quickly selling out, though, so we suggest you jump on it now if you can swing it.

Now, less than two months into her lifetime of royalty, we're finally starting to see Meghan's true style come out. She’s kept it fairly subdued up until this point as she dipped her toe into her new role (though some of her off-the-shoulder silhouettes have raised eyebrows…), and it feels as though she can finally break out of the mold—at least just a little!—with looks like this.

Who else is ready for the next royal fashion icon to give us years of inspiration?
