Meghan Markle Wears a Stripey Shirt with Chic White Pants to Watch Serena Williams at Wimbledon

As her close friend Serena Williams is playing in the women's final today, Meghan Markle is at Wimbledon alongside Kate Middleton. And true to form, the Duchess of Sussex debuted a smart, and lowkey surprising, new look at the sporting event.

Wearing the blue and white stripey shirt, with chic white pants, Meghan was delighted to be arriving at Wimbledon alongside sister-in-law Kate. Her hair is in her signature messy bun, with the rest of her outfit striking the perfect balance between smart and casual:

Middleton and Markle's trip to the Wimbledon women's final marks the first time the duo have stepped out together, without their husbands. Fans were understandably excited when Kensington Palace announced that they'd be watching the match together, especially as Markle is such good friends with the tennis star.

According to The Express, Williams told reporters this week that she's "always had a wonderful friendship" with the Duchess. She allegedly continued: "Every year for a couple years she comes out to Wimbledon and has supported me. Now she’s supporting me in a different role, but our friendship is still exactly the same."

Of course, Williams attended Markle's wedding to Prince Harry on May 19 at Windsor Castle. Since then, Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, accompanied Markle to watch Prince Harry play polo, making it clear that the friendship will continue even though the former Suits actress is now a member of the British royal family.

As Williams told reporters this week, via The Express, "We have always supported each other, just been there for each other through a lot."
