From Town & Country

Meghan Markle arrived at the launch of her fashion collection—her first high-profile royal engagement in some time—wearing, unsurprisingly, pieces from the new line. However, eagle-eyed royal watchers quickly noticed that she'd paired her clothing with a very speical set of jewelry.

Meghan was wearing two of Princess Diana's accessories for today's event: a pair of butterfly-shaped earrings, and a gold bracelet. The pieces added a sentimental touch to her ensemble. See the pieces here:

This isn't the first time she's worn these earrings and bracelet together. Memorably, the Duchess donned them during her first public appearance after announcing her pregnancy last fall, when she and Prince Harry arrived in Australia to begin their royal tour of Oceania.

Now, nearly a year after that, a lot has changed for the Duchess. Back then, Meghan was still newly married to Prince Harry, and settling into her role as a royal; now, she's a new mother, and celebrating the launch of a charity initiative she spearheaded.

The Duchess's fashion line was created to benefit Smart Works, her patronage that helps underprivileged women prepare for the job market. Among other services, Smart Works provides women with interview-appropriate clothing.

In her guest-edited issue of British Vogue, Meghan recently explained that while the organization was doing a great job, it could benefit from more donations. "Sometimes, however, it can be a potpourri of mismatched sizes and colors, not always the right stylistic choices or range of sizes," she explained. To help, she enlisted a group of fashion industry collaborators to create a capsule collection—and for each item purchased, one will be given to Smart Works.
