  • Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance today to join Prince Harry at some baseball-themed events in support of the Invictus Games.

  • Meghan is currently on maternity leave after giving birth to Archie Harrison last month, so no one saw this coming!

Meghan Markle is currently on maternity leave after giving birth to Archie Harrison around seven weeks ago, and while Megs has mostly been avoiding the spotlight (and used her mat leave as a convenient excuse not to meet President Trump), she did step out for the Queen's birthday celebration, aka Trooping the Colour, earlier this month. And you know what else she's willing to take a break from maternity leave for? Supporting her husband Prince Harry's work.

This weekend is the London Series, in which the Red Sox are playing the Yankees at London Stadium in support of the Invictus Games (a sporting event created by Prince Harry for wounded, sick, or injured servicemen and women). And Meghan surprised us all by showing up to do a meet and greet with the players today:

According to royal commentator Omid Scobie, Meghan also joined Harry at a reception with former US and UK Invictus competitors and is watching the game with him:

Both teams also gifted the royal couple with tiny, personalized onesies for Archie, and they are TOO cute:

Meg wore a simple belted knee-length black dress and black flats for the occasion, looking both casual and chic:

In other Meg and Harry news, it seems like they've had some trouble finding a nanny for baby Archie, as they're reportedly already on their third one (!). That said, they must have found a nanny they trust, cause I assume someone is watching the baby while his parents are at this baseball game!
