Meghan Markle Showcases Her Exquisite Handwriting in a Letter to Luminary Bakery
The Duchess of Sussex has guest edited the September issue of British Vogue.
Luminary Bakery, an organization in East London dedicated to empowering women, took to Twitter to celebrate its inclusion in the magazine.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, sent a letter to the bakery, which showcased her exquisite handwriting.
Meghan Markle's guest edited issue of British Vogue focuses on an array of inspiring women who have been dubbed "Forces for Change."
Alongside Laverne Cox, Salma Hayek, Yara Shahidi, and Jane Fonda, Meghan has also chosen to focus on the important work being done by women's organizations. In particular, she highlighted London's Luminary Bakery, whose work supports women who have been affected by violence and trauma.
Sharing a gorgeous handwritten letter from the Duchess of Sussex, Luminary Bakery wrote on Twitter, "'...The work you do, what you represent to the community, the spirit of the women there—you all embody what it means to be 'forces for change'. Thank you for being a part of this special project.' — HRH The Duchess of Sussex."

We are still pinching ourselves that we’ve gotten to be a part of this special issue."

Meghan's letter to the London-based bakery isn't the first time that fans have seen the duchess's frankly perfect handwriting. Of her talent for calligraphy, the duchess told Esquire in 2013, "I'm glad that in the land of no one seeming to appreciate a handwritten note anymore that I can try to keep that alive."
The Duchess of Sussex demonstrated her immense skill during a visit to Brinsworth House in 2018, with royal reporter Emily Nash sharing photos of Meghan's handiwork and beautiful signature:
