Meghan Markle Revealed What Type of Father Prince Harry Is to Their Kids Archie & Lilibet

While Meghan Markle and Prince Harry keep their two kids, Archie and Lilibet, out of the spotlight, that doesn’t stop them from adorably giving fans hints about being a family of four. Over the years, we’ve gotten tidbits on how the kids are, their nicknames, and even Meghan and Harry’s parenting styles. And during her keynote speaking panel at the 2024 SXSW Conference, Meghan revealed what type of father Harry is (and it has us ‘awwwing’)!

While discussing the horrendous cyberbullying she received while pregnant with her two kids, Meghan sweetly shouted out Harry’s hands-on parenting skills. While he was in the front row of the audience, she beamed, saying via People, “I’m fortunate in that, among the privileges I have in my life, I have an incredible partner. My husband is such a hands-on dad and such a supporter of me and my family. That I don’t take for granted. That is a real blessing. But a lot of people don’t have that same level of support.”

She added, “So I think for us, it’s about putting safeguards in so women and moms especially cannot feel like they’re even more vulnerable when they go online.”

Having a great support system is everything, and to have such a hands-on, loving partner is truly priceless. We seriously love how happy they look when discussing how the other awesomely parents their two kids. Doesn’t it just warm your hearts?

For those who don’t know, Harry and Meghan started dating in 2016, and by April 2018, they were married in a beautiful royal ceremony. They share two children together named Archie, born in May 2019, and Lilibet Diana, born in June 2021.

In a previous interview with People, while discussing his memoir Spare, Harry talked about his parenting style, saying, “It leaves me in the position how as a father, I have two kids of my own, making sure that I smother them with love and affection, [but not to] smother them to the point that they’re trying to get away. But in the sense that I as a father feel a huge responsibility to ensure that I don’t pass on any traumas or negative experiences I’ve had. And that’s work, that’s putting in the work, and daily, being conscious of my behavior, of my reactions to both of my kids.”
