Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's royal wedding captivated the world as viewers tuned in for the live broadcast in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018. While this was a momentous occasion from the outside looking in, it was actually the second time the couple said their I dos, People reports. In a candid sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey on CBS, the Duchess of Sussex opened up about their big day and revealed that they actually got married three days before the public affair. The private ceremony took place in their backyard with the Archbishop of Canterbury officiating the nuptials.

When it came time for their televised wedding, though, the duchess did feel ready. And she even noted more about how the big day unfolded. "I've thought about this a lot because it was like having an out of body experience I was very present for," she said. "That's the only way I can describe it because the night before I slept through the night entirely, which in and of itself is a bit of a miracle. And then woke up and started listening to that song 'Going to the Chapel.' And just tried to make it fun and light and remind ourselves that this was our day—but I think we were both really aware, even in advance of that just, this wasn't our day. This was the day that was planned for the world."

Fast-forward to today: The royal couple has settled down in Los Angeles with their nearly two-year-old son, Archie, and they are expecting another child very soon. In the latter part of the interview, Harry joined Meghan and Oprah to speak more on family life, and he revealed during the television special that they are expecting a baby girl. "To have a boy then a girl—what more can you ask for?" Harry said, People reports. They now feel like their family is complete, telling Oprah that "two is it." But the Duke of Sussex added that it is an amazing feeling to bring their new addition, due this summer, into the world. "Grateful, having any child, any one or a two would have been amazing, but to have a boy and then a girl… now we've got our family and we've got four of us," he said.

In addition to the excitement of welcoming their daughter, Meghan and Harry are overjoyed to spend more quality time with Archie and watch him grow up right before their eyes. "To have outdoor space where I can go for walks with Archie and we go for walks as a family and with the dogs. You know, we go on hikes or go down to the beach, which is so close," Harry told Oprah. "The highlight for me is sticking him on the back of the bicycle in his little baby seat and taking him on bike rides is something which I never was able to do when I was young. I can see him on the back, and he's got his arms out, chatting: 'Palm tree?' House?'" Harry noted, also highlighting Archie's growing vocabulary. His favorite word? "He's on a roll. In the past few weeks it's been 'hydrate,'" Meghan revealed. "Whenever anyone leaves the house, he's like, 'Drive safe!'" added Harry.
