Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Were Spotted in Public, Shopping at a Wellness Store
Meghan Markle is officially on maternity leave now, but the Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry were seen out together in London on a shopping trip this past Friday. Off-duty sightings of royals are rare period, but this one offered a good glimpse of how Harry and Meghan dress when they're on their own. The couple was seen leaving Ilapothecary, a wellness store in the city, holding hands and dressed stylishly but casually.
Harry was in black jeans, a grey polo, and a matching grey basketball cap, while Meghan wore blue skinny jeans, white sneakers, a white t-shirt, and a green jacket. She had her hair down. PopSugar has photos of the outing here.
Meghan has been seen a couple times off-duty since becoming a royal before. The first occasion was in January, when she was having lunch in Notting Hill with her then-deputy director of communications, Christian Jones. Then, she wore a navy coat, what fans believe to be a pair of H&M Mama jeans, her nude Stuart Weitzman heels, Ray-Ban aviators, and a Mulberry bag.
Meghan was photographed most off-duty during her visit to New York City in February though for her baby shower. From her travel style to her dinner and lunch outfits, Meghan's casual looks were always chic and polished.
Meghan, by the way, is her own stylist for royal engagements, too. As Meghan's friends previously told People, the Duchess of Sussex is "self-service."
One recalled being with her before she did an engagement. “I was with her last month, and she was going on a public engagement. Harry and I were sitting with the dogs, and we were all chatty, and she’s painting her nails,” the friend told People. “Except for her wedding, she does all her own makeup. Dresses herself, styles herself.”
