Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Are Threatening to Sue Photographers Over Canada Paparazzi Pics

Just when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry thought escaping the British monarchy was going to ensure their privacy and protection...it already appears they thought wrong. Despite packing their bags and making a move overseas to Canada, they still can’t seem to shake the paparazzi from their tails.
According to TMZ, Meghan, Harry, and their lawyers are reportedly threatening to sue over paparazzi shots taken of Meghan and Archie while hiking with their two dogs on Canada’s Vancouver Island, where they’re staying. They’ve already sent a cease and desist letter today to British media outlets that says legal action will be made if any of the pics are published or purchased. The letter in question says, “There are serious safety concerns about how the paparazzi are driving and the risk to life they pose,” which seemingly references Princess Diana’s tragic death.
The letter allegedly implies that a lawsuit is on the way because the photos are already floating around. Apparently, multiple British outlets have posted some of the pictures and have yet to take them down. Photographers managed to secure the paparazzi shots of Meghan because some have allegedly set up camp and used massive telephoto camera lenses outside their home.

Looks intense, right? If Meghan expected to have privacy while hiking, using such a large camera and camping out for pics just might be a basis for a lawsuit, but Canadian laws are different from the British ones the royals are used to. Technically speaking, Meghan was hiking in a park with Archie, but there’s no official word yet on whether this will turn into an actual case. Stay tuned.
