Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Sweet Thank You Cards Revealed After Their Wedding
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have that attitude of gratitude after their Windsor Wedding. The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex graciously thanked their well-wishers by sending out thank you cards to all those who sent the high-profile pair congratulatory messages as they wed on May 19.
The card itself features one of their wedding portraits—a lovely snapshot of the pair sharing a candid moment on the steps of Windsor captured by their photographer, Alexi Lubomirski.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been overwhelmed by all the incredibly kind cards and letters they have received on the occasion of their wedding,” the message inside the card reads. “And are so touched that you took the trouble to write as you did.”

The note concludes, “It really was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated by Their Royal Highnesses who send you their very best wishes.”
Lubomirski previously shared the sweet story behind the couple’s wedding portraits, particularly the solo shot featured on the card of the two laughing. “It was just one of those magical moments when you’re a photographer and everything falls into place,” the professional photog told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. “The sun is setting right just over the top of Windsor Castle just behind them. It was just the most serene, beautiful light. They’re in love, walking around this beautiful garden.”
In fact, it was a near miss. “I said just, ‘Before you go in, let’s sit down on these stairs,’” he added. “And she just slumped in between his legs… They were just laughing because they were joking about how they were exhausted and finally, it was over. They just looked at each other and they were just laughing, and it was just this beautiful moment.”
In lieu of gifts, the couple memorably requested their fans and other guests to send donations to several chosen charities.
