Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Will Spend Thanksgiving in America

• Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are apparently planning a long break from royal duties over the festive season.
• The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will reportedly take baby Archie to the United States for Thanksgiving.

Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry have had a very busy schedule in 2019, but the couple is apparently planning a much-needed break for their family.

According to royal correspondent for The Sunday Times, Roya Nikkhah, the duke and duchess plan to split their time between the United States and the United Kingdom over the festive season, so that the family can enjoy Archie's first Thanksgiving.

Nikkhah posted on Twitter, "Exclusive: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will take some 'family time' off from November, dividing their time between the US and the UK. It will be Archie’s debut in America where he’s likely to spend his first Thanksgiving. But Christmas will be with the Queen @thesundaytimes."

A source close to the couple reportedly told Nikkhah (via Town & Country), "The duke and duchess have a full schedule of engagements and commitments until mid-November, after which they will be taking some much-needed family time."

Nikkhah also reported on Harry's desire to move his family to Africa in the future. Per the royal correspondent, "Prince Harry says that Cape Town would be an 'amazing place for us to be able to base ourselves' while pledging: 'The rest of our lives, especially our life’s work, will be predominantly focused on Africa.'"

Clearly, some big changes are ahead for the Sussexes, but it's heartwarming to know that they will have some much-needed rest and recuperation over the holiday season.
